We have added a Clun Forest ram and ewe lamb to our flock. The ram was bred to our three commercial ewes. These closely related girls have been very hardy, thriving on little feed and care with good bodies. I'm pleased with their Clun cross lambs from last year, now yearlings. I've purchased 2 more Clun ewes and a Clun ram lamb. I'm hoping to have some Clun lambs soon. My 3 Clun Forest ewes and 3 commercial girls were all bred to "George" this year. George's daughters from my commercial girls last year were in with the new ram lamb. | |

We bred 3 commercial ewes to the Clun ram last year. The results look good, with 3 sets of twins including 3 ewe lambs to begin our Clun cross flock. These are some March 2005 photos. |
