Navajo-Churro Fleeces

Navajo-Churro wool is classified as coarse and is composed of 3 distinct types of fiber.  The fleece is open and has no defined crimp.  The inner coat measures 3-5" and the outer coat 6-12".  The fleece is long and shiny, high yielding, low grease content.
Inner Coat: Wool fibers range from 10-35 microns, comprising 80% of the fleece.
Outer Coat:  Hair fibers measuring 35+ microns, comprising 10-20% of the fleece.
Kemp:  Short opaque fibers of 65+ microns not to exceed 5% of the fleece.

Cady, white fleece, ? pounds

I'm skirting this now.  Very clean.  Under 10% has some mocha colored fleece in it.  Cady is actually an apricot colored sheep.  Her wool is almost pure white now.

5-6 inch staple

Longer Fleeces:  If you are looking for longer fleeces let me know.  Most people seem to want their fleeces under 6 inches.  I shear 2 times a year since some of my sheep grow well over 10 inches a year.  If there is a fleece you like, but you want a longer staple, I can skip that animal in my Aug/Sep shearing.  Then in early March you will have a much longer fleece.
